Allen's workshops generally cover the value of being word perfect, how to bring to life the writer's intent while making it your own, how to make the average interesting and the extreme genuine, and ways to transition great improv and theatre experience into the acting style of film and television. Instruction is customized to each actor's specific needs, so lessons vary from workshop to workshop.

You are welcome to bring your own material if that's allowed by the workshop location. Otherwise, please abide by their guidelines. Either way, please select one-on-one sides to better train for real world conditions. You should bring two copies to the workshop - one for you and one for the reader.
